Kelsey Lesco works for the Student Loan Ombudsman within the Department of Law.  In this role she resolves student loan borrower complaints and oversees the student loan servicer regulation program. Previously, Kelsey worked as the Colorado Legal Assistance Developer for Elders under the Older Americans Act.  In that position Kelsey administered and provided support, training and technical assistance a statewide legal aid network that provides free and low-cost legal assistance to Coloradans 60 years of age and older.  Kelsey also works extensively in legislation and public policy development to address systemic issues impacting older Coloradans. In the past, Kelsey served as an attorney in the mental health program and coordinator of the Olmstead Project at Disability Law Colorado, the Protection and Advocacy system for Colorado.  In addition to a law degree Kelsey holds a Master’s in Public Administration.
