Erin’s passion for advocating for others and working with older adults started when she volunteered at Lutheran Hospital’s Transitional Care Unit in Wheatridge, Colorado during high school. This established a foundation to empower others to achieve their multitudes of wellness.

Erin received a Bachelor’s in Health Science with an emphasis in Senior Fitness from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs with a Minor in Gerontology. Erin continued her passion in working with older adults by obtaining her Masters of the Arts in Gerontology at the University of Northern Colorado. After graduating, Erin was a research assistant for Aging in Place research for Dr. Joyce Weil. She has a publication of this research with Dr. Joyce Weil and Dr. Nancy Mendoza. She would continue her passion for the gerontological field by working in long term care as a social services assistant.

Erin is a Colorado native with some east coast roots. When she is not craving to go back and swim in the east coast ocean, she is enjoying the scenic view of the Rocky Mountains.  Erin enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as pet sitting, listening to people, laughing spontaneously, kickboxing, doing goat yoga, playing video games, and trying new foods. Erin would like to take this time to thank the people who have come in and out of her life and continue to check in on her journey as she helps others.
